Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American performer and actor for more than a decade. She has won numerous prizes for her performances in the roles of Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard and Claudia Shepard in Nashville (2012). She also played the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton on the movie Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. Also, she has an older sister, Ally. Aubrey spent ten seasons performing with Orlando Repertory Theatre. She graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speaker of the class of 2012. Harvard University was willing to admit her. However, she turned down the opportunity twice. The second time was due to the fact that she wanted to be a part of Nashville. Peeples played a role as a guest in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). She appeared in made for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She was one of the main characters in the Nashville series in which she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar illness during an interview she conducted an interview to NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples at the end of September as among the top American young actors.
